EAC Clearing Agent Fee Rebates

Under EAC agreements, licensed clearing agents who pay the EAC Clearing Agent Fee are entitled to apply for a rebate on qualifying transactions. SSIFWA administers this process through its dedicated Rebates Portal at rebates.ssifwa.co.ke.

Applications are reviewed by the SSIFWA finance team, with approved rebates processed within 10–15 working days. Only SSIFWA-registered members can submit applications.

  2. 2 Submit your Transaction Reference Number and supporting documents
  3. 3 Track your application status in real time
  4. 4 Download the approved Rebate Certificate as PDF

Professional Certification

EACFFPC Programme

The East African Customs and Freight Forwarders Practicing Certificate — the regional standard for clearing professionals.

Curriculum

Covers EAC Customs Law, freight documentation, trade finance, dangerous goods, and INCOTERMS.

Certification

Successful candidates receive the EACFFPC certificate recognised across all 6 EAC partner states.

Schedule

Sessions run in Juba, Nimule, and Kaya. Online modules available for remote learners.
